Effect and Mechanism of Beta Asarone from Acorus tatarinowii Schott on Neuron Injury in Rats with Parkinson's Disease

To analyze the protective effect and mechanism of beta-asarone from Acorus tatarinowii on neuron injury in rats with Parkinson's disease. Thirty five male Sprague Dawley were randomly selected to establish rat model The divided into 5 groups as sham operation group, low dose medium group high betaasarone 7 each group. Rats injected same amount normal saline, while middle 10 mg/kg, 20 mg/kg 40 respectively. behavior expression tyrosine hydroxylase, alpha-synuclein, superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione peroxidase, interleukin-1 beta, interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-alpha, B-cell lymphoma 2-associated X protein, 2 caspase-3 brain tissue detected level detection. Compared number autonomic activities, roll down time, forelimb activity levels peroxidase significantly decreased nitric oxide, protein increased (p<0.05) alphasynuclein, decreased, factoralpha, (p<0.05). Low may inhibit oxidative stress inflammatory reaction, cell apoptosis, decrease hydroxylase overexpression so play a certain neuroprotective role reduce damage.
